We offer classes for children 6 months to 6 years old.

  THE JELLYBEAN CLASS

  Our Jellybean Class is a one hour, parent-accompanied playgroup designed for children 6-12 months as well as 12-18 months. As with all of our classes, curriculum is based around the British Early Years Foundation Stage (2012). In a structured setting, children are free to experiment, explore and engage with others. Our warm and friendly class teachers are here to facilitate your child in achieving his or her major developmental milestones. Between the ages of 12 months and 18 months, children develop faster than they will at any future stage! There are significant milestones in movement, hand and finger skills, language, cognitive function and social and emotional awareness.

  Class sessions include:

  • Active Learning Time
  • Group Time/ Music
  • Art and Sensory Time
  • Physical Development
  • Story Time

  THE CATERPILLAR CLASS

  Our Caterpillar Class is a parent accompanied playgroup for children 18-26 months. The duration of this class is one hour and thirty minutes. This programme’s goal is to provide a basic introduction to a classroom setting and routine.

  Each class will include the following basic elements:

  • Circle Time
  • Active Learning Time
  • Art and Design
  • Reading and Story Time
  • Music
  • Sensory Development
  • Play Time (Physical Development)

  Class will also include

  • Mandarin Group Time (Every class)
  • Cookery/Tasting (Twice per month)

  THE GRASSHOPPER CLASS

  Our Grasshopper Class is an unaccompanied class for children 26 months to 36 months. The duration of this class is two hours. This class is designed to be a natural extension of our playgroup class bridging the gap between attending school accompanied and attending school independently. The elements of this class are intentionally identical to those of our Caterpillar Class to help ease the transition.

  In our Grasshopper Class, Mandarin Group Time is also offered daily. The focus of our Mandarin Programme is an introduction to conversational Mandarin. In order to give parents an idea of their child’s experience in class, one photo per week will be emailed home.

  LITTLE GEMS CLASSES

  
  

  Our Little Gems Classes are focus driven, one hour group classes with the intent of introducing and developing their skills and interest for each particular subject. These classes are offered to the unaccompanied children 30 months to 42 months.

  These classes include:

  • Little Gems Mandarin
  • Little Gems English
